Try Out for the Bold Business League

The Operating System for Owners Who Want to Build World-Class Companies

BBL is built on the belief that any service business can reach eight figures by executing proven plays consistently over time.

We are not interested in blowing up revenue faster than operations can handle.

We are interested in building durable, respected, well-run businesses that compound year after year.

BBL helps Owners stay focused, competitive, and confident they are executing the right plays even when progress feels slow or unglamorous.

This is a long-term commitment to building:

  • Strong local brands

  • Smooth, disciplined operations

  • Teams people are proud to work for

  • Real profit

  • Generational wealth over decades, not months

“BBL isn’t here to pump you up for a short-term high. We’re here to help you do the right things forever.”

- Lee Godbold

The Scoreboard Never Lies

BBL is built around objective scoreboards that show exactly where each Team stands. Players compete and track progress using real operating metrics such as:

  • Revenue

  • Revenue per Payroll Hour (RPPH)

  • Phone Close Rate

  • Commercial Job Rate

  • Other execution metrics as the League evolves

The scoreboard removes opinions and replaces them with clarity.

winning plays

Winning Plays are proven strategies submitted by real operators inside the League. They are not theory.

Winning Plays include:

  • Marketing (paid and non-paid)

  • Sales systems and pricing

  • Operations and staffing

  • Financing strategies

  • Branding and positioning

  • Equipment and fleet decisions

  • Commercial growth

  • Cost control and margin improvement

Players work together to refine, pressure-test, and improve each play before it becomes a League standard.

Focus Beats Hustle

BBL exists to eliminate distraction.

Players are expected to:

  • Report numbers weekly and monthly

  • Focus on a small number of high-impact plays

  • Execute consistently instead of chasing shiny objects

This is not motivation.

This is discipline.

Players are expected to attend virtual and in-person quarterly masterminds based on division.

Inside a BBL Event

BBL Events have a variety of content and activities. Common things you’ll find at events are:

  • Operator-led strategy presentations

  • Updates or refinements of league initiatives (Ex. “Creating Raving Fans”, “Commercial Outreach Minimum Standards”)

  • Deep Hot Seat planning

  • Scoreboard reviews

  • Shop tours and in the field training or observation at some of the top junk removal facilities in the country

  • Group Dinner and opportunity to network with fellow junk removal owners

  • Clear commitments and follow-up

Our goal for our in person events is to cover Plays that are currently working for some of our Players and give you the strategy to execute on your own. After the event, if you decide to run the Play, then the entire League helps you keep on track and execute the Play.

Each event agenda is unique and evolves based on League priorities. This is an example agenda from January, 2026. The agenda for the next event will be released to attendees as the event draws closer.

What Is a Hot Seat?

A Hot Seat is a structured working session where one Player presents:

  • Their goals

  • Their current plan

  • Constraints holding them back

Format:

  • Each Player typically receives ~20 minutes

  • The group pressure-tests the plan

  • Constraints are identified

  • Action items are refined

  • Commitments are locked in
